Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig Sept. 21 1982) is a well-known American actress. She is most famously known for her role appeared as Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost television show, and Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. Maggie Grace is originally from Worthington from Ohio dropped out high school in order to move to Los Angeles after her divorced parents. The actress landed her first part, as Rachel's Room's title character, in 2001 despite struggling in the financial department. The television film Murder in Greenwich where she played a 15-year-old Martha Moxley earned her the nomination for a Young Artist Award. Grace Rutherford was the character Shannon Rutherford for Lost's first two seasons in 2004, and she shared with her a Screen Actors Guild Award (with all the other actors) along with her. Grace decided to leave the series to focus on her film career. She had starred alongside Tom Welling opposite in The Fog earlier in the year 2005. She starred as Kim Mills opposite Liam Neeson (both in Taken the year 2008) as Suburban Girl and The Jane Austen Book Club. Taken 2 (2012), Taken 3 2014 and Taken 4 (2014) were her reprises of these roles. Grace was back on the Lost series in the final two episodes, playing Shannon. The year was 2013, and she was a guest in the sixth season of Californication. The character she plays is Faith as the muse and fan of the celebrities. She is a member of the Gyllenhaal Family, she's the daughter and older sister of the actor Jake Gyllenhaal. As a teenager She began working as a small part-time actress for her father and appeared in Donnie Darko along with her brother. She then appeared as a character in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind and Mona Lisa Smile (both 2002). Gyllenhaal was praised by critics for her performances as the lead in the romantic erotic comedy drama Secretary (2002) and in the dramatic Sherrybaby (2006) each of which resulted in the Golden Globe Award nomination. The Dark Knight, which was released in 2008 after several highly successful films including World Trade Center (2006) and World Trade Center (2006), earned Gyllenhaal more fame. For her performance as a single mother in Crazy Heart (2009) she received a nomination for Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. In the following years, she appeared in dramatics and comedies: Nanny McPhee and The Big Bang (2010) Hysteria (2011) and Won't Back Down (2012). The other roles she's played included Secret Service agents in White House Down (2013 Action thriller), musicians in Frank (2014 and drama The Kindergarten Teacher 2018) as well as her role as the kindergarten teacher. Gyllenhaal began her career as a screenwriter, director and writer in the year 2021. she directed and wrote The Lost Daughter, a psychological drama. The Lost Daughter. The film won Best Screenplay at The Venice International Film Festival, and was also nominated for the Academy Award.
