Matthew Matt James was born in North Carolina on December 5 1991. He is a mixed-race kid born to Manny James, and Patty James. Her mother is caucasian and his father is Nigerian. He graduated in 2010 at Sanderson High School. In 2015, he graduated with an undergraduate degree in Economics from Wake Forest University. James was famous after he became a reality television star in The Bachelorette. James was picked in the year 2020 to be the next bachelor for The Bachelor season 25, being the show's initial African American male star. The series premiered later that year. James would be a perfect match for the job as is tall, beautiful and humorous. Rachael Krukconnell turned into his lover at the end of season. In the season 30 (in 2021) of Dancing with the Stars, James competed alongside famous dancing star Arnold. James as well as Arnold came 12th.
