Aisling B a is born on 16 March 1984, in Kildare Ireland. The comedian has appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16 March, 1984) is a stand-up comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea was first able to make a name for herself with stand-up comedy in the year 2011, following small parts she appeared in Irish and British television dramas starting in 2009. She was already regularly performing on sketch comedy shows and sitcoms. After winning an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began being booked frequently for various panel shows where she was a frequent guest. In 2016 through 2017, she served as a captain for 8 Out of 10 Cats and is a frequent contestant in the show's sequel 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. The parents of her include Brian and Helen O'Sullivan. She has one younger sister, Sinead. She was only the second ever female winner of So You Think You're Funny. Bea, her maiden name, pays tribute to her dad who died in the year 2000. Aisling Cliodhnadh was born March 16, 1984, in Kildare Town, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian died at age three. He was a horse veterinary. Bea wasn't told the details of how he passed before she reached the age of 13. Her stage name Bea was a tribute for her father. Bea was the author of an opinion piece for The Guardian, published in 2017 on her journey dealing with suicide. Bea and her younger sister Sinead were nurtured by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) a secondary school teacher, jockey trainer, and an ex-professional jockey. Her family were passionate about horses and races. Bea began her career as a tour-guide at the Irish National Stud. However Bea realized at an early age that racing wasn't for her.
